Safety

Safety is a critical part of the mining project. It is more than 90 kilometers from Sokli to the nearest agglomeration with services. That is why we invest especially in the development and maintenance of a safety culture.

Everyone who works and visits the area completes Sokli's safety training in advance. Each of our employees has an occupational safety card and at least EA1 level first aid knowledge.

We use a system for registering and processing occupational safety and health observations, and we perform a root cause analysis of all deviations.

We also support the operations of the rescue helicopter Aslak, whose goal is to ensure the availability of rescue helicopter services in Lapland.
